Research Methods, Publication Strategies, and Career Perspectives in Sport Psychology

From 2 to 6 September 2024, we will host our next PhD Course! Find out more about the aim of the course, the invited experts, and the registration process.
We look forward to meeting many enthusiastic PhD candidates, learning about their PhD projects, and supporting them with lectures, individual supervision, and team-building activities.

The aim of the course is to provide PhD students with more in-depth knowledge of research methods, publication strategies, and career perspectives. PhD students will experience an overview of different quantitative and qualitative methods. Further, students will gain practical experience on how to prepare manuscripts for publication, learn about what editors are looking for in the manuscript submission process, and discuss questions about authorship, AI, and open science. Moreover, students will have the opportunity to discuss career perspectives with other international PhD students, lecturers, and experts in the applied field. Finally, they will be given the chance to present and discuss their own work with the experts. Overall, the course will enable communication, networking, and cooperation among students and experts.
