Abstract
Dr. Oliver Leis is a postdoctoral researcher in sport psychology at Leipzig University. His research focuses on stress, stress management, and applied sport psychology in high-performance contexts, with a particular emphasis on esports. He serves as an ombudsperson for the Esports Research Network, is a member of the scientific advisory board of the eSport-Bund Deutschland, and contributes to two ERASMUS+ projects. Additionally, he is on the editorial board of the Journal of Electronic Gaming and Esports, the editorial board of the International Journal of Sport Psychology, and the advisory board of the Journal of Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology. In 2023, he received the Early Career Award for Outstanding Research Engagement from the University Society of Leipzig. Beyond research and teaching, he works as a sport psychology expert and coordinates sport psychology support at the Leipzig Sports Schools.

Dr. Oliver Leis is teaching sports students in the Bachelor's and Master's programs. In the Bachelor's program, he focuses on sports psychology topics, with a special emphasis on health promotion and performance optimization.
