Dr. Oliver Leis is a research assistant at the Institute of Sport Psychology at Leipzig University since 2018. His main research interest is stress coping in sport and esports. In addition, he is a member of the German Society for Sport Psychology, the European Federation of Sport Psychology, the European Network of Young Specialists in Sport Psychology, the International Society of Qualitative Research in Sport and Exercise, and the Esports Research Network.

Dr. Oliver Leis is teaching sports students in the Bachelor's and Master's program. Currently, he teaches topics of sports psychology in the bachelor's program with a focus on health promotion and performance optimization. In addition, he lectures research methods in both Master's programs, namely MSc Sports Science: Diagnostic and Intervention and Master Sport and Exercise Psychology.
