Abstract

Sebastian Spillner has been working as a research assistant in the Faculty of Physical Education since 2017.


His tasks include the supervision and organization of the traineeship of pre-service physical education teachers. He also lectures in the different didactics of school sport modules and is involved in the taking of module examinations and state examinations as well as the supervision of final theses.


In connection with his activities for the ZLS, Sebastian Spillner gives further training for teachers in the context of the mentor qualification.


Sebastian Spillner is writing his qualification thesis with Prof. Dr. Heike Tiemann on the professionalization of approaching physical education teachers in inclusive settings.

"Professionalization of pre-service physical education teachers for the inclusive physical education. An empirical study on the development of reflective competence within the framework of a specific Seminar Concept."


The core objective of the project is the development, implementation and evaluation of a seminar concept that prepares future P.E. teachers for the concrete implementation of inclusive physical education and fosters the necessary reflective competence of the students. In order to investigate the change in reflective competence in the context of diversity and inclusion, qualitative methods will be used in this project.
